The poinsettias in the Sanctuary this morning are given to the Glory of God, and in loving memory of Edward (Ted) Corman and Shirley Corman from their children, Debra, Darcy and Jim and their grandchildren, Riley, Raegan, Jessica, Alex, Wesley and Matthew.  In recognition of the Christmas Season, please join the family of Ted and Shirley as they celebrate their lives and beloved memory by enjoying Christmas goodies together in the Lower Assembly Hall following today’s service.

We send our deepest sympathy to Ethel Griswold and Family on the death of her Ethel’s husband Vernon on Monday, December 11th.  The Funeral service was held here at Knox-Metropolitan.on Saturday, December 16.

Per Sonatori Baroque Ensemble presents Angel Noel: Giving Voice to the Christmas Message, tonight at 7:30 pm here at Knox-Met. Join us in a night of reflective contemplation about the spirit of Christmas. We delve back in time and find early origins for some of our favourite sacred Christmas songs that were written hundreds of years ago, but still illuminate themes which are so important to us today, no matter what spiritual path you walk–love, joy, hope and peace.
